BLEU | ROD BEATTIE

This new swimwear brand wanted to support product sales at an important national retail chain – Bloomingdale’s. Mobley Marketing Communications, Inc purchased ad space in the well-regarded New York Times T Style Magazine, and created a fashion retail ad featuring a select Bleu/Rod Beattie style available at Bloomingdale’s. Additionally we planned and produced a special in-store event around the ad, and generated publicity for the designer personal appearance. Consequently, this Bleu/Rod Beattie style was one of the top-selling swimsuits at Bloomingdale’s in Spring 2013. Many orders came in via phone from outside New York and Los Angeles; New York Times Magazine has national distribution.

Also in 2013, our on-going publicity and public relations efforts for Bleu/Rod Beattie garnered high-profile media placements, including a full page in the Los Angeles Times, eight pages in Pasadena Magazine, a segment on the nationally distributed talk show Steve Harvey, and various swimwear editorials in fashion and lifestyle magazines like O, the Oprah Magazine and InStyle.
